Childrens Dentistry

As a rule of thumb, it is advised for your baby to visit a dentist when they reach 12 months old or their first tooth is visible - whichever comes first. If you notice anything you think is out of the ordinary before this time, it's better to be safe than sorry, so book an appointment straight away!

Seeing a dentist regularly will help with future and adult dental anxiety as they become accustom to regular check ups and cleans! The dentist may discuss teething, brushing techniques, the bite, gums and cheeks, habits like thumb sucking, risk of decay and how to prevent it and nutritional advice.
